The popular Dock Inn, owned by comedian Jethro’s brother Les Rowe, is located in the heart of Penzance’s historic harbour-side area.

The Dock has a unique atmosphere, retaining its traditional character with scrubbed pine tables, polished wooden floors and two open fires, enhanced by leather sofas and tasteful soft furnishings. A newly created restaurant, with bi-fold doors overlooking Quay Street, has an open contemporary feel that blends remarkably well with the pub environment of the Dock.

The Dock has an informal & very friendly atmosphere where you can sample one of our excellent real ales, drink a cup of freshly brewed coffee, read the papers, enjoy a bar snack or have a full 3 course meal.

Our food is modern British with a continental twist, with all meals being cooked on the premises using only fresh ingredients, and offering excellent value for money. Menus are devised according to season and produce availability, using locally sourced ingredients.

The chef will vary dishes to accommodate your tastes & requirements if at all  possible.

We have a comprehensive wine list, a wide range of bar drinks and choice of 3 excellent real ales including the legendary Spingo brewed in Helston.

In the warmer summer months you can enjoy our sunny courtyard garden. In the winter we have a heated smoking area for our customers enjoyment.

As well as offering excellent value food & drinks, we have 3 quality en-suite B&B rooms – once described as “the best kept secret in Penzance” by a regular visitor.
